High Heat Paint Questions

RE: High Heat Paint Questions
I used BBQ paint (Krylon, I think) on my Flowmaster which was flaking from the factory, and it held up well for probably about a year, but I've recently noticed it's started to flake off again. Of course, I did a really bad job prepping the muffler before spraying it, so that's almost definitely the problem.
I bought a different brand of duals so I'm not going to bother repainting, but as long as you prep and clean it properly, even BBQ paint should hold up fine for at least a few years. And it's cheap as hell and very easy to do, so even if you have to repaint it after a few years, no big deal.
