Help with Street Scene Fog Wiring Harness
Ok here's the question, what the heck am I supposed to do?
In the Street Scene Fog Wiring Harnes instruction manual it gives you these four pictures of the fuse box showing you where to place the red wire with the fuse terminal shown here in the first four pics listed below, as you can see where it is circled in red, the instuctions show to plug the wire into what looks like an empty area next to two pink 30 fuses....Keep reading please, the question is below after the pictures.
Now if you look at the three pics below of my stock fuse box of my 2007 Mustang, you will notice that where the red wire is supposed to be plugged in, rather than two pink 30 fuses, there are three pink 30 fuses, one being where the red wire is supposed to be plugged in. My question is...Is it just assumed in the instruction photos that you should automotically remove the stock pink 30 fuse and in its place plug the red wire, or are the photos and instructions from Streen Scene outdated and are possibly from an older 2005 or 2006 Mustang where the new 2007 Mustang possibly has a different fusebox with different fuses and that the Street Scene Kit is not compatable with it? (If you look closely my fuse box looks completely different from theirs, such as the location of the larger gray fuse boxes and such.) Any help would be largely appreciated guys, I really want to get going with this grille but I don't want to make any moves or guesses pertaining to this issue as I dont want to "blow/fry" my fuse box by doing something wrong.

Hmm, ok so you have an 06 non PP and it looks like theirs? Including not having the third pink 30 fuse? Yea well like I said it may be that the 07 fuse box is different, I mean not only is that pink fuse different but the location and amount of the larger gray boxes are different too, so i don't know whats up, and what really to do.....

ha thats my car ! anyway i actually changed the connection and am using the gt switch becuse i didnt want to drill the hole. i removed the main connection if i remember its a 10mm bolt and put a large eyelet connector but thats just me. and yes my car is an 05 the o7 has a few more goodies heated seats and power pass seat also if your a vert it could be one of those. you basicly just nee power from anyone of the spare taps or just connect to the main like i eventually did. i send mike at SS this link and have the guys update his online instructions. BTW i was the test car you can email me if you have any probs. i also think i have some pics in the how to threads in apperance

That's awesome to hear man, I really appreciate your response, so just to double check, if I plan to use the wiring harness with their switch and do exactly as they show in the instructions, I can just plug that red wire into any other one of those outlets next to the pink fuses in the fuse box?

RE: Help with Street Scene Fog Wiring Harness
yea jus want a hot . also take your time when cutting the hole in the 6 switch. better tight than loose. you want the switch to stay in. some have had to use hot glue if the hole was loose.
