definitely not a poserstang....LOTS of people use Roush parts or all. Most would agree the only time it is really a poserstang or fakestang is when you start using the badging like slaping a roush/ shelby/ saleen badge on the car. not to mention roush's have special wheels to so your not doing a complete kit! lol the only time you will really get called out fake or poser is if you start slapping any mustang GT badge or for that matter specialty GT badge <shelby, cobra, etc...> on a V-6. Personally that makes my stomach turn....but it's a free world!

just worry about you being happy and nobody else...someone calls you out just be forward....ie dude thats a v6 why you got Gt badges? answer: because i like them you got a problem with it? i know it's a 6.

the quick answer....body mods are free game in my opinion....badging is different, and forging signatures just wrong....lol...that freaking Roadster is HOT!

Can anyone tell me what "dynotuned" means? I'm thinking of buying a used Roush GT and the ad says its been dynotuned up to 365 hp. What does thie mean? Should I be cautious about this? Couldthis mean someone has been horsing around with the motor and I should be extra careful before buying it?

Dynotuned means that it was put on a dyno machine and they used computer software to set up the car to its max performance. ford usually puts a general tune in it that its meets all requirements I am not sure about the rousch and what the 365 comes from Most of these 4.6l engines come with 300 hp motor and get about 260 rear wheel hp +/_ 15 then with add ons such as cold air kit and tune can pick up up to 30 more rear wheel hp. each power mod can be additive to the final rear wheel hp. the 365 hp was it total hp or rear wheel hp. that is the question you need to ask. It is not bad either way. but if it is rear wheel hp then you are way ahead of most stock , or lightly modded mustangs.
See if he had dtpracing tune it if so you should be really good with the tune. It should not be a concern. www.dtpracing.com
there are two guys that tune vehicles and both these guys are great.

I went and test drove this car yesterday! What a rush (or should I say, Roush). When switching from 1st to 2nd, the rear wheels chirped andI wasn't even trying. Kinda scary. Compared to the 07 I drove last year, this 07 was definitely quicker. I also found out that the Dynotune was indeed done at DTPRacing in Chesapeake. I called them and confirmed it. They said they installed the Excalibrator 2. Is that good? I understand it is the most basic tune...around $700.

Here are a few pics. This 2007 Roush Stage 1 convertible had less than 5000 miles on it...in fact it turned over 5000 while I was test driving it. I think it is an excellent deal for $32,500. I paid down a deposit and plan to buy it next weekend. HOW CAN I CONFIRM THAT IT HASN'T BEEN WRECKED OR ANYTHING? I did a CarFax report and it doesn't show anything other than the original purchase and a state inspection. No odometer reading other than the one when it was taken off the truck at the dealership (3 miles on it at the time).

Here are the pics:
