I am looking at getting the Shelby GT (not GT500) front bumper and was wondering if anybody has the part number? Also where or how to get the scoop the dealer said it can only be ordered if you have the Vin from a Shelby GT.

I believe it's a GT/CS front bumper your looking for, don't know about the hood scoop.

Thanks, I believe your right....now I justneed to get the part#. The scoop is for a friend of mine he is the one that wants the scoop, we are having a hell of time findingout how to get hold of one. I know people have bought them and put them on there cars.

First off go to another dealer because that oneis full of it. There are many people on here doing the gt500 conversions with no problems on getting parts. I had my gt/cs frontbumper installed as a replacement for the stocker after I hit a deer. As such I didn't have access to any part numbers but I know there are a few additional pieces that go with it that are different than the stock bumper--the lower valance being one piece I think. Tell them you wantthe California Special bumper. Its the same thing as the shelby. Its listed in the Ford accessories catalog but its only says "base part no. 20049"
