The stock wing looks like it came off an 80's Firebird
Really, have you ever even seen an eighties Firebird? The Trans Ama nd Formula 400had a flaired ducktail type spoiler that stood up like the Cervinis ducktail. The Mustang GT spoiler is a flat wing on two pedestals. Not really seeing your comparison there.
The stock spolier is designed like the 1969-1970 spoiler.
The big fat *** on these cars looks very awkward without a spoiler.
Apparently YOU have not seen an 80's firefird. The model you are describing ended production in 1981. From 82-92 this is the model. Note the rear wing. And I owned an 84 thank you.

Stock wing looks like crap !!!! I would have preferred no spoiler but not an option in 2006, so the holes were there [:@]
I got the 3D Carbon GT500 wing, installed and very happy with it, here are some pics

The best one is the one you like the most and the one that ends up on your car - or none at all. My favorite is the Street Scene Gen 1 ductail spoiler. It's the most like the one on the original '68 GT/CS. I didn't want to pay to have the spoiler holes filled, so I compromised and went with the GT500 spoiler.

I think the GT500 one is perfect. Although, I do really like the idea of no wing, but its too late now.
