Aftermarket Aluminum Hoods

Aftermarket Aluminum Hoods
Are there any other aftermarket aluminum hoods available for our cars other than the Saleen hood and the Foose hoods?
I've been considering a fiberglass hood for awhile, but have talked myself out of it. The body shop I talked to actually didn't recommend them for daily drivers. I've heard some horror stories about stress cracks, etc. It sounds like a lot of them show up in crappy shape, despite the fact that you might have paid $700+ for them. I'm not a big fan of hood pins, and I am guessing without them I would be at even greater risk for cracks. Etc, etc, etc. Sounds like plenty of people have good experiences with them, but I don't want to have to worry about it constantly.
So anyways, I started looking at aluminum hoods. The Saleen hood is $1500+. The Foose hood is about $1000, but I'm not a big fan of it. And I can't get myself to pay $1500 for the Saleen, although I damn near talked myself into it. Any other options?
Also, I was hoping the aluminum hoods would require minimal prep work, is this true?

RE: Aftermarket Aluminum Hoods
All after market hoods except the steeda race cowl and the carbon fiber ones weight more than the stocker. If Anything get a seibon hood or a vis one and if you dont like the carbon fiber look just paint over it and bam.
