If the laws weren't as strict here in CA, then yeah, I would've gone 20%. But I'm pretty happy with the 35%. Again, it's not bad when you have a dark interior and dark exterior car.

The dark interior comment I agree with, but you have it backwards on the exterior part. Light tint like 35% or whatever will look darker on a lighter colored car, because of the contrast.

Light tint will look darker on a white car than on yours, for instance.

The dark interior helps 35% tint to look darker, but the dark exterior has the opposite effect.

I just got 35% front side windows, 5% quarter and rear yesterday. back is DARK, sides look pretty dark from the outside unless you are looking through the side out the windshield. I've got black with dark charcoal interior.

I had the 35%... wasnt too happy.

It was NOT dark enough for me at all.

I had the shop redo it with moleskin (they didnt the first time) and told them to put on 20% instead of 35%..

I like it much better.

I would even go 15% next time, especially on the back.

The back is key, because it is a big window and lets lots of light in.

W/e you choose, just make sure you pick what makes you most comfortable.. if that means illegal, then so be it..

If I get pulled, I am rolling both windows down (if they arent already)..

Thats what all my friends do too.

A fix it ticket will be the end of this happy 20% tint though..[&:]
