it sounds fine, the only thing is that when you split two rca leads off of one I think it's gonna cut your pre amp voltage in half. If it sounds really bad then run the leads from the head unit to your aftermarket amp, then run another set of RCA's from the pass through leads out of the aftermarket amp into the wiring harness to the shaker 500 amp. It'll be a pain in the butt, but it'll work if the first option doesn't.
