Best prep before painting used spoiler?
Just got a GT spoiler for my 08 V6. Any hint/tips as to prep on the spoiler to be sure I get good paint adhesion?
I'll be painting the spoiler either flat or satin black.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Best prep before painting used spoiler?
Depends on method of applying paint. Are you using a
compressor and gun or just rattle cans. I believe you
can now get body shop quality epoxy primer in rattle
cans. If it is gelcoated you'll have to rough the surface
with paper and degrease and tack wipe before paint.
just go to Maaco and talk to one of the painters. They
will do it cheap.

What he said, if you're not trying to match the color of your car take it to Macco or somewhere else like that. They'll do it pretty cheap and you won't have to worry about runs etc.
