Got the superstripefrom Rob at BSM. Great guy, answered all my questions and even customized my order for me. This is my first time I've ever applied stripes so I was kind of nervous as to how it would turn out. Had my 16 year old son helping me and we did alright until I got the the very front of the hood. For some reason it was being a pain vs the rest of the hood. But witha lot of patiences and the handy hair dryer I think I got it pretty good.

I'm sure some of you are alreadythinking "should have done the whole car" but I wanted to be different with the hood only. And I'm not done withmy grand scheme of things either....slowly but surely.

Now to the good stuff....pictures!

Looks great. I tried to put one of those on mine and never could get the stripes over the hood lip. After 3 hours I ripped the stripe off. Yours looks great.

Yea that hood lipwas a challenge! I still have a little wrinkle in it right at the very point on the hood but it's better than it started out as.

I'm not ashamed to say the whole process of washing, claying, washing again, measuring and installation took about 5 hours just for the hood alone. I wanted to take my time and do it right. After all it's the hood of the car. I was almost to the point of giving up but my son kept encouraging me. Or better yet...those of you who have teenagers....telling me how I was doing it wrong LOL!
