RE: Headlight Removal

The bumper has to come off to get the headlight out, and the actual headlight itself is a sealed unit. The plastic cover on the headlight is glue in. It can be rmeoved with some heat and elbow grease, but is not a quick job. I have seen some threads on what people did to get the plastic lense out, and it varies from using a oven to heat them up a bit, to using a heat gun.

I happened to luck out awhile back and purchased from a guy in the forums, a virgin set of headlights, with the plastic lense not yet glued in. One side was a complete light, and the other is missing the reflector. i purchased a broken headlight, so that I can tear it a part, and get the reflector out, and put together a complete set. I will then paint the inside plastic piece to match my body color. Just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
