I purchased a CDC aggressive chin spoiler a while back and now I am ready to install it. I have the instructions that came with the spoiler, but I am not understanding one step. I understand cutting out the three upright pillars and the support facing where the original lower grill piece snapped into place. But they are saying to cut 1" back from the front lip. This is where I am not exactly understanding what they want. The instructions do not come with a photo of the finished prepared area, so I don't really understand how much of the lower surface to cut away. My Mustang is an 2007, and I don't want to cut too much and screw up my front facia, due to the replacement cost of over 400.00 for the facia.
Can anyone give me more information on the CDC Agressive chin spoiler other than the instructions that they sent with the product? The online instructions are the exact copy of the ones sent.
IF you have any pictures or drawings of the complete finished cut out area, that would be great as well.
