Let me reassure everyone that 3M tape (if applied correctly) will hold any of the aftermarket parts on the car and most factories that have non-functional parts applied with tape use 3M tape. Been around forever and the use of adhesion promoter will give even more piece of mind. JMO -J -(I have more parts than anyone that use 3M tape and no issues)

There is also a pre-adhesive that most body shops will use, this is also a 3M product. It is recommended by 3M to use the pre-adhesive however I know several that have not had it used and still have not had any problems.
For draining, they do take a bit but not a long time really. Usually by the time I am done drying everything out the scoops have leaked about all the way through.
One thing I do recommend, I did not want to see the back of the scoops or anything so I had the windows tinted with limo tint so I could not see out of them. There are also places that sell precut kits for just this use.

I am sorry you had a bad experience but mine have been on for over 20K miles of driving including rain, east coast humidity and the Arizona sun and heat. I have never had them peal, warp or come off. Also I have never had any issues with fitment on any Cervini product, nor have friends of mine. Though I only know one other with the complete kit I know quite a few people around the DC/VA/MD and the Phoenix AZ area that have the window and side scoops without ever having one fall off. Also none of them have ever had any fitment issues. For that matter my wing is not peeling, and my rear lip is not pealing.

still waiting on pics
I'm on vacation out of the country, and for some odd reason the internet browser can't load the gallery pictures. Sorry for the trouble!
Also, about how much would it cost me to prep and paint the 2 window louvers? I've decided to hold off the side scoops for now and buy some Borla Stingers
