I have a 05 GT with a dash that has Fuel and Temp gauge only. No Display that tells how much fuel is left, or how for I have traveled. No option to chage dash lights. Also the 3 buttons above the radio (left side) are dummies.

I have 5 classic mustangs and with all the aftermarket, DIY'ers, the amount of things people have done to thers cars.

Someone out there has the same dash as mine and has removed and replaced the dash with one that has 4 gauges, and the info display, colors and the install of those 3 buttons.

I am looking for that knowledge?

From what I recall of all the others looking to do this, if you pull the center stack panel out, and there's a loose plug behind the dummy buttons, all you need to do is order the Infocenter/MyColor gauge cluster (and control buttons) from your local dealership. Then swap it out. There may be a slight re-program required that your local dealer can take care of as well. If you don't have the wiring harness behind the dummy buttons, I'm sure it's far more complicated.

It actually is that simple.. the downside is most dealers will want to keep the car to keep the mileage ordered on the new dash (the dealer does NOT have access to program this in... thankfully or every used car on the lot would have 1200 miles put on it by a little old lady..)
