Just tried installing a Seibon SS carbon fiber hood on my 06 Mustang GT with Saleen supercharger andwant everyone to know that it will not fit. The center louvered section on the hood hits the top of the supercharger. To close the hood, it would require an additional 1.5 to 2 inches of clearance. I will say that the hood looked great on my black Mustang. Anyway, does anyone know of a good heat extraction hood that will fit over my Saleen supercharger? I'm looking for ahood with louvers from about 2 feet from the front to about 6 inches from the rear of the hood. I'm not looking for a hood scoop or cowl induction hood. Just for information, the Saleen supercharger fits under a stock Ford hood. Any suggestions will be appreciated, the engine compartment gets really hot under my black hood here in Florida.
