believe it or not, i was seriously considering under my lowest louver on my rear window louvers.. but i really didn't want to have to "feel" for it everytime.. at least with them vertical in the gas door, i can see the keys..

no worries.. i'm sure if he can dish it, he can take it..

Pretty cool idea MeanStang08, Anything that sets you apart from the rest of the stampede is definitely a cool mod. Don't sweat the haters...everyone has to have an opinion--some good, some bad---some of us just know when to keep them to ourselves.

nice mod bro. I may have to do this mod as a back up since I have shaved door handles, I might have to hide it better though...LOL

If you have shaved door handles and your battery dies, how do yu get in your car to open the hood? Just wondering.

one word of caution, i had someone ask some very detailed information about the keypad cause they wanted to get it.. it has batteries, but after reading a little bit more in the manual, it says.. when the battery is low, it'll flash, and completely cycle the locks when you enter the code.. that tells you it's time to replace the unit.. the batteries are not replaceable.. what the heck.. i mean.. yeah, it should last a while, but why in the world would they use un-replaceable batteries.. sheesh

I have a tool hidden on my car that goes in between the billet grill and pops the hood from the front...also have a manual back up on the car as well as a battery quick connection right under the rear bumper so I have about 5 ways to get in the car, this aint my first car with shaved doors...LOL

Great mod for those who need it and sucks you justifying and explaining to everyone about the mod.....pics are great and it is a very cool and sneaky idea......paint is great and the car looks great as well........job well done
