Default Should I trade my 17" Bullitts for 18" Fanblades?

I just have a quick opinion question for everyone. There is a place locally that is selling a set of 08 Fanblades w/ the charcoal center w/ tires, caps and tps sensors all mounted and balanced for $650 w/ low miles on them. Now I'm pretty sure I could sell off my 17" Bullitts for about that locally. I really like the Fanblades as much as any after market out that, especially when they have the charcoal center, I think that would look really good w/ my Alloy. The question is though, would I see a huge difference traction wise if I later switched out the stock tires for something stickier vs. what I could mount on a set of 18x9 and/or 18x9/18x10?
I was thinking of tossing a feeler add on Craigslist in hopes someone w/ a v6 might pick them up as quick as they did w/ my stock spoiler, but I need a few opinions first.

I personally like the traditional bullitt wheels better. I don't think they look good on any car but the mustang, which makes them unique. The fanblades make me think of hubcaps. Just my opinion though. If you like it, do it.

Charcoal Fan Blades are not common on the used market.
I would snap them up
Yes, I went from a 215/65-16
to a 235/55-17
to a 255/45-18
The 255/45-18s win.

They would look just like the ones on the yellow Mustang.

I think the Fanblades are the best looking stock wheels available. Personal opinion; now if you go wider than stock and stickier compound then thats a yes on more traction

I have the normal polished stock 18 inch fanblade rims on my gt. I didn't even know that they had these grey fanblades stock. When did they start offering them?

The charcoal Fanblades don't look nearly as obnoxious as the plain ones. Personally, though... I still like the Bullitts better, even in 17". If you really like the Fanblades, and you think you can come out pretty even on it, then there's really no difference if you decide to go to a wider wheel/tire in the future.

The charcoal fanblades look awesome on an Alloy GT. I really wanted to get a set for my stang, but can't find any locally. The only downside from going to the fanblades from the bullits is the added weight. Those things are going to look sweet though! Please post up some pictures if/when you get them.

Swap for the fanblades. If you decide on a different 18" wheel then you have a nice set of tires for another upgrade.Selling Bullitts is hard enough, everybody is trying to sell them or get rid of them.
