Default painted factory bullet pics, 18"

i have the old flat black, hugger orange theme on my car, dont really want to purchase new wheels this close to winter, but has anyone painted their polished bullet wheels black, or black and left the lip polished, or other options?

Don't paint those polished 18", they are hard to come by and sell for a good amount. Sell them and you would almost break even to buy a set of aftermarket rims or buy a set of 17" bullitts for cheap and paint those.

The black FRPP 18" wheels are reasonably priced($165.00 each) and the T/A's that come in the stock tires size from Tire Rack run about $70.00. I ran the Black 18's on my 06'GT and they looked really nice. You could possibly trade out or sell your polished wheels easy enough to get a set of black Bullitts.I've seen polished Bullitts with blacked out spokes and it looked like a clown car set of wheels.

yeah, good point, sorry used to my old "tuner" days where flat black wheels were cool.

I really like the look of your hood. Did you paint it black or did you have it done? If you had it done what did it cost you? I am thinking of doing that on a Tungsten Grey 2007 GT coupe. How wide is the pin stripe and how big is the gap between the stripe and the main part of the hood? It looks like the hood on a Steeda Q350.

ditto, sell them and get the black rims. I have the polished chrome bullitts myself, they look great to me IMO but have also considered those black ones.If you get them ordered from Ford I heard you don't pay for shipping.

I would spend the extra and get them powder coated.

Yeah definitely sell them, but watch out when buying from ford, messed up both passenger rims avoiding an idiot in the rain a couple weeks back and its taken 3 weeks for the stock 18" rims to get here (MD) from Ford.

I've already had offers for my damaged 18" polished.
