I recently purchased a 2008 Mustang GT about week or so ago, I just noticed this past Sunday that the rear bumper on the right side doesn't fit flush with the rest of the car..has anyone else encounter this? I went back to the dealership and their body shop told me that the bumper fits that way on some models.

The week after I bought my v6, I noticed this too. I looked around the bumper thinking somebody might have nicked me in a parking lot or something, but no scratches or dings. But yes, the right side of my rear bumper doesn't sit flush either...

I have the same problem with my 06 GT....I even switched to a GT-500 rear bumper and it does the same thing...so it's not the bumper. Lucky for me its not that noticeable on black...
