Default Tell me the Truth...exterior mod idea

Lately I have been throwing around a bunch of different idea's on what to do on the exterior of my GT.

I might have a line on some 18" chrome DD bullits. They were not my first choice but I hope to get a good deal on them.

So I was thinking what if I went with a Silver Bullitt Motif? (My car is a Satin Silver.)

I want something that is low key and not expensive, but changes the car up a little.

I would probably do something like the following.

GT-500 modded chin spoiler
Bullitt Grille
GT-500 rear spoiler (I know authenticity says no, but I already have the holes so I need something)
Chrome DD Bullitts wheels
2001 Bullitt lettering on the trunk

Optional - MRT '68 hood

So is this idea stupid or would it look pretty good? I am not trying to be a slave to the bullitt formula just changing it up.

sounds like it will look good; if it were me, though, i wouldn't use the bullitt lettering

I like the idea alot minus the GT500 splitter, that thing always looks like it just is stuck on and doesnt match anything on the stock GT bumper.

I think the bullitt grille will look good.I have one and it looks bad ***!~ Gives the front a real low key look, the satin surrounds looks great as well though wasn't a fan of it before.

I want DD bullitts as well.

I thought the lettering might help people to make the connection, but I am not stuck on having it. Maybe I could break out the dremel and turn the B into an F so it will be a "FULLITT"

Thanks for the input on the GT-500 chin spoiler. I have only seen it in pics and sometimes it looks good and other times it doesnt.

And yeah I would really like to do the hood, but it would have to be awhile before I could afford it. I still spend 95% of my $$ on performance mods.

I really like that 68 hood. If I didn't already have a roush hood scoop at the paint shop being painted I'd consider that hood. Maybe sometime in the future if I get tired of the scoop.

Interesting thing is they also used that style hood in 67. I didn't look up any other years.
