The shaking is common on 05-09 mustangs. You're supposed to have a little play in the hood. Why? Who knows

Ditto on the hood shake being a common issue. You can adjust the bumper(s) a bit about 1/4 turn at a time to help reduce it and there were some old threads about laying a small strip of weatherstripping above each headlight to reduce incoming air that causes the "lift". Hood pins look great and I've been considering them also but I'm kinda leary (a.k.a. chicken) about drilling holes in my hood.

However, it's been stated that NO ONE has ever posted that they've had a hood pop open. I also take her up to 110-120 MPH rather frequently and the hood shake can be unnerving. Strange thing is that it's sporadic... It'll do it sometimes and not other times.

I even notice my hood shake when i'm doing 80 on the freeway.....I'm a little nervous about drilling into my hood as well......

But has anyone had them installed?

Mine did the same thing even after adjusting the stops, I put hood pins in & solved the problem.

I've seen the sticky tape hood pins lol. You don't have to drill, but it won't take away the shake

Its a tough one to drill in your hood. But not difficult. Just take your time and drill with a starter hole and slowly work your way up. This way you wont damage your hood or dent it in and guarantee the hole going to large all of a sudden. With all that said, your heart will still race. It might be easier having a friend around. Go for the Shelby pins.

I have the "Shelby" style pins. I have already cut the clearance holes in the radiator cover, mounted the brackets and am now just getting ready to drill the holes. My brother installed the same ones earlier this year with no problem. Measure TWICE, cut ONCE!

Care needs to be taken with the little things, watch the tools around the top of the hood - vacuum the chips as you're drilling so they don't get by the wipers with the hood up, etc. There is a little "play" in the bracket holes, but if need be, you can open them up a little more and use lock washers to hold them securely.
