I was told the paint has to cure for thirty days before application but it isn't really feasible and I might go ahead and haven't applied after two weeks. Anyone?

back when the stock market was 30-40% higher (yikes!) I took a look at some used Ferraris. They all had the clearcoat front end protection and I could see the line they leave across the hood on each one. Most of the cars were red, so maybe it's that color but I think you'll be able to see it on black too.
As far as protection you are paying a LOT and if you get hit by something big it will still dent. I'd personally put just $100 into a regular bra that I can put on for trips and then paint the front after a few years. But if you get a good deal it might be worth it.

I had one on my 06 vert and it started to look a little dull so I removed it. Much better looking now. My ride is not a DD so I wasn't worried too much! Also, after it's been there awhile, you will start to see and notice it more and more. It was on the car before I bought it, so I'm not sure if it was an aftermarket brand or a true 3M bra. I wasn't impressed with the way it looked so I removed it.

Geez now I'm almost having doubts. Anything else I can do to preserve my paint.? Maybe don't wax it and only polish it.
