Has anyone had problems with their plastic bra's. 3m or whatever it may be called.
My car is currently in the shop waiting for new paint on the hood, front bumper and front fenders and will be released sometime next week. Then it's going to sit for a month and have the plastic applied. I heard several paint shops saying that paint needs to breathe but being a owner of a black Gt I'm ready to prevent such noticeable paint chips. Anyone here has the application and are satisfied. Also I'm getting the GT emblems taken off the front fenders so it will look cleaner. Please reply someone.

I wanted to post this size. I can't wait to see my car without the GT emblems. I get her from the paint shop tomorrow. Poop that didn't work either.

make sure the shop knows what it is doing. my dad got one put on his car and it kept bubbling. he's had replaced twice now and it still bubbles. but i've seen them on other cars that looked great and you couldn't even see em. only black cars i've seen em on were my dad's vette, which you i talked about and a new GT-R and you couldn't see it unless you knew it was there and really looked for it.

After installing my new Roush Front Facia and Spoiler, I decided to get the 3m clear bra put on my Black GT. Well, I have to admitt that you can't see where it has been applied. However, the down side is when a fair size stone, or ...?? hits it, you can see the actual mark in the clear bra against the black bumper. So, ya, it may protect the actual paint, but you can definatley still see the marks/chips in the clear. So I say.... what's the point !!
Anyone else experiencing this...

The stuff they are applying on mine isn't 3m and is suppose to be better. Got my car back today from the paint shop minus the gt emblems on the side , Sweet. Now I'm suppose to wait thirty days but I don't think I can't wait that long. This car pooling with my wife is making it hard .
