I was thinking about this and you know what would be wicked incorporate into your design? A retractable license plate mount that came through the opening. Think about it....

Definitely a cool idea. I already have the mechanics to it:

Yeah lots of cool ideas indeed. I'm currently working on a custom hood scoop, antenna base cover, and fog light modded covers for a few customers atm. Will post pics when they're finished.

well i think that both super dave and cuzzo deserve props for there both inventions. I dont need a front liscence plate in alberta canada but i was windering if something could be made so i can "act up" and not have my plate known... Hummm (rear that is) hmmm

Thanks. I am not trying to hijack Cuzzo's thread here...but I'll answer this quickly.

The rear bumper poses a problem because the spot for the license plate is several inches above the bottom of the bumper, and a mechanism like this is too simple to travel that distance. Some sort of rotating assembly COULD be placed there, although I don't think there's enough room to rotate a plate fully inside the bumper, so it would take some creativity to make something work for the rear.
