Ok guys, I have an idea for a dash plaque I would like to make, but haven't had much luck in find someone willing to deal with me on it. Anyone know someone/where that would be willing to help me out? I'm thinking I want it to be etched in either stainless or aluminum for a nice clean look...

Any help would be appreciated.

I think a custom dash plaque for our GT's is a great idea. You could personalize it to say whatever you'd like. I don't think it would be too difficult to make something, as the gt/gt500 already have these.

I have one on order right now from Mr Shelby for the gt500.

Robert yo be exact, all my friends call me Rob and I've been thinking about doing this for quite sometime, really wanna have it done by Christmas. I think I'm going to do it something like this

And similar, I want it to go from vent to vent like that, but I think I want it to be deep like the roush one that's made out of bronze?!? I started thinking about it and I think something like that made out of aluminum where it's somewhat embossed inside it's own frame would be really sick. And if the plain aluminum isn't enough we have some polishers at work that would give it a really nice chrome look to it.


So anyone have someone that would be willing to machine this for me? I would typically use our shop but being it's a surprise for some people up there that have helped me out I'd rather not let them know

I only do Plastic work, but I saw a post in the 2005-09 mustang section from a guy making custom rear badge emblems on a CNC machine, out of steel and aluminum. Might wanna hit him up. GL

Yea, I remember seeing him too... It was nice looking sorta like the Shelby dash plates....can't seem to remember him tho?.... I'd be interested if someone found him myself.
