My tint man talked me into it. Not sure about the tint but you cannot tell the windshield is tinted. Remainder of car is 20%. Really glad I did the winshield. Really cuts down on glare and heat coming in. I would recommend it !!

yea do like 45...my friends did 5 all around and 20 on the front glass and it was sexy

thanks buddy. my tint guy is trying to talk me into it too. i got in his truck and loved his windshield. which is also done at 70%. thanks again for the advice and how you like yours. how is the visibility in the rain and at night.

as much driving as you do from state to state, I'd keep the strip at the top and go with 70%.....that with plus the other windows being tinted, it'll look great.

thanks cam. and yes with as much driving as i do all over the southeast i want it to look as unnoticable as i can. and i think with the 5% strip on the top it will not be as noticable. thanks again cam for the comment. you gettin the gears still? that is my next move.

oh yeah....just a matter of finding the time. I was hoping to get them in last week, but wasn't able too and now with the holidays fast approaching I'll be going home to Mobile, AL alot which will push it out even further...but maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to fit it in-between Thanksgiving and Christmas...

thanks for the comment but i think 45 would be to dark for me. still a little worried about how the vision is in the rain and at night. i think 70% will be just right for me esp with the rest of the car done at 20%. and i am going to leave the strip. thanks to everyone who posted and helped me with this decision. i know i can always count on you guys/gals

If you have the 5% at the top already I would not do the rest of the windsheild...... JMO but a poor decision if you do...the car is a DD no? If so I would not do it, if it isn't I would tint 50%....JMO and congrats on the upgrade to the 08 GT in dark candy apple. I know it been a little while but I remember talking with you on a thread or thru PM about the car you have now (resizing sig maybe). anyway whatever you do just be careful!

They use to. When I was younger, about 17. (17 years ago lol) My dad got a letter from sf, with info on my 2 tickets, even an out of state one, warning me of one more, the rates would go up or I would be dropped.

Are you doing this for looks? When you have dark tint already on the other windows, the windshield looks tinted already in my opinion. With the windows up of course.
