go with the painted ones, they'll last longer and look better.

You definately gotta go with somebody you trust also.. i don't know how far away from me you are, but Pyles Body & Paint is definately top-notch, and will do you an awesome job - he did my hoodscoop & tail trim (between taillights) in matte black for me, and matched my other mattes (rear roush spoiler and front CDC chin spoiler)

give em a call for a quote

ahh.. not too awfully bad.. might not be fun to have to leave it there, which i assume you'd have to do, not a quick job i'd say..

yeah, it's about 20 miles NE of louisville, up I-71 along the OH river.. good luck!

I can't really remember the exact dimensions of my stripes & spacing....I believe it is 10" stripes with 2" in between, then 1/4" spacing with 1/4" pinstripes on either side. I have them, along with the rocker panel stripes painted on my car. I haven't ever really regretted it, I pretty much knew from day one I would eventually get it striped.

I'm vinyl for now, but from the beginning the plan has been to get them painted eventually, might happen this spring even. Every car I've seen with them painted on right, meaning buried and cleared over, no edge, look the best. Not to mention with Paint the color options are pretty endless. But like others said you need to be content with the stripe option before you dive into paint. It's costly, and it's more permanent. As for size, IMO 10" if you are going to go with the Two 1/4 pins, and definetly 12 if not.....Mine are 12"/ 2" spacing
