Front Pony Emblem Cover, check this out
#12
I just found out about this from another post where Mudflap mentioned it. The guy emailed me back very quickly and mentioned that he now had a website for these. I just ordered a matte black one myself. I asked him about a black chrome look kind of like the 2010, he linked the closest thing he had which I'm pretty sure is alloy metallic, the same color as my car. After thinking about it, that might be a bit too monochromatic even for me. www.emblemcovers.com

Looks great . I also got a cover from Jim on ebay and posted it on here sometime back:

He is very open to modifications of any of the emblem covers he sells and is very easy to deal with. I almost felt as if I was stealing from him for what he charges for these covers. When I dealt with him he had been contacted by Ford and was not allowed to advertise these covers on eBay because of the copyright on the running pony image. As mentioned he does have his own website which I think I provided a link to in my thread above.

Yeah I must have went back and forth w/ Jim a half a dozen times today just b/c he wanted to make sure he got my order right. In the end I decided to get the pony painted to match my car after all since as he suggested the matte black might not be as durable w/o the clearcoat.
