I ordered mine for my Pony's Christmas present, figured with the holiday sales and all. THEN Agent 47 goes and lowers the price come Jan 1. Well merry friggen Christmas. Oh well, I bet if I didn't order them then, they would have been discontinued. Now, waiting on paint. Then, waiting to get her from storage come Spring.

Sorry Pascal, painting the whole mirror, seen the two-tone, but think solid will be best on my retro redfire. I have seen prices as low as $209.

How's visibility with the agent 47s? Can you still see good when backing up? I know the mirror area is only about half the stock ones.

I agree, painting only the cup looks awesome - I have seen a few pics of red and white ones like that.

imo painting the whole thing including the BIG HUGE triangle looks so stupid because it makes the triangle stick out like some BIG HUGE flag or somethin. Hey everybody, how you like my BIG HUGE triangle? is what that says to me... lol

Oh yeah, btw. Free shipping and $219 might be better than $209+ and pay for shipping.

Some places bait you with slightly lower price but get it back with handling charges, for instance, CJ Pony Parts has em for $209.95 ($210) but wants $21 to ship from PA to CT = $230.95 shipped a few hundred miles compared with direct from Agent47 in CA @ $209 + $15 = $224 shipped over 3000 miles. hmmmm.... not a big diff really. but do I like being baited and paying handling fees when I order stuff? let me see...

my goof - agent 47 direct is $219 + $15 = $234 so its actually $3 more than CJPP (and I would pay it before paying handling fees btw)

the good deal seems to be southern mustang parts with the free shipping for $219 out the door...I will have to place an order myself before the end of the week and see how their service is.

Subjectivity hits hard when it comes to taste, so your own is what matter most...
I've seen a member here (redfireGT?) with the two tone set up on his red car and it'll looked good I thought...

I placed my order with SouthernMustangParts.com and the 47s are on their way now.

Ken was very helpful, matched price on another part and threw in free shipping on my whole order so I m happy.

Have not made up my mind 100% yet but I'm getting them painted gloss black for my Vista Blue pony.

I figure if I want the pod part painted to match my blue then it can always be done at a later date. Being as how we're just going into Feb and Im corraled in CT, my pony aint leavin the stable for another month and a half anyway. I envy all you guys down south that don't have to worry about givin your ride a salt bath and sand blastin if you drive it in winter...
