I was looking through pictures of mustangs and scrolled across these pictures....




Notice the inner wheels are painted red. This is the first time I've seen someone do this(besides being painted black) and I think it turned out great! I'm going to call a couple powdercoating places near me and see what something like this would cost.

I would be doing this on my white mustang with 20" chrome razors, so I think it would look really good!

Your thoughts?

Dunno how well powdercoating is going to stick to chrome.

The inner wheel isn't chrome, so it should be fine. I was either thinking white to match my car. My calipers are red. If I do paint the inner wheel red, then I'd paint my calipers white. Or if I do the wheel white, then I'd just leave the calipers red. I'm not positive if I'm going to do this. I wish I could see it in person

well i think it looks good but that stang looks great all around and you just kind look past the inner part of the wheel painted but it does add a touch to the car that you dont see much.

I think its a cool idea, but I'd have to see it in person to make a real judgement.

Your right! The car looks amazing all around so the wheels are not the main center of attention, just an added bonus. I think I could pull it off with my car. I have the gt500 conversion, cs rear bumper, shr louvers, cervini cowl hood, agent 47 mirrors, plus the 20" chrome razors, so I think I could pull it off........ maybe

You should see the new 20" Ford wheels for 2010,they are chrome with a painted red center.Not my cup of tea but they look nice.
