I was just thinking about my stang a bit and how now with the GT500 Front end it seems more... sleek, streamlined, refined yet at the same time 100X more aggressive... and I kind of started piecing things together and though that it might look kinda cool to have my door handles painted matte black.... or not fully matte but like semi gloss... anyone know if its easy to remove it and get it painted? Or how you think it might look? I think it would give my car something that is 100% my own and nobody else has unless of course someone has a red gt with black door handles... haha anyway just looking for opinions or idea's on how this might work thanks in advance.

i think it would look pretty weird and out of place but hey thats just me. do what you want.. and are you gonna get any pics up with the new front?

yeah... it will look like black plastic. lots of cheap cars have black plastic door handles. i say just leave them red

yah, i wouldnt. its funny though. cars that come with the handles painted people take them off and have them painted. then you have people with painted handles who take them off and paint them black. haha

I think it would look cool if you had every after market body piece black. I was thinking of doing that with mine as well. Maybe you should just look into taking the handles off completely if your going for the sleek approach.

yeah, you'd be better off speding a little extra coin and shaving them altogether.

I'd just stick with the painted handles and leave them the way they are. i think it will look weird with what you have on your car and will just not work with the mustang. go for something else like painted mirror covers....etc. that will make your car look sleeker.

I have painted mirror covers haha... I need to get a new sig.. my GT500 Front End pics will be going up around 8-9PM tonight so be on the lookout =) how do I shave the doorhandles I think that would actually be pretty cool....

really really REALLY sharp razor [try a schick]. LOTS of shaving cream.... a hot shower helps, too.
