Default Are HIDs really this cheap?

Retro solutions has HID kits fro like <$200.
Is that everything i would need to convert from halogen bulb to hids?
When i was looking into hids for my accord the cheapest prices i found were like 1k for a good kit.
Are the retro-solutions kits plug and play or do they require retrofitting?

also anyone have some pics of them installed + night shots of them.

Ford HID = $900
Saleen HID (better looking, cooler) = $650
Illigal, super high glare, annoying, 2.7% chance of melting your headlights, throws light all over the road except where you need it in useless shapes, looks like crap when installed, medium difficulty install, all made in china POS HID's = $175 (shipped) (and god help you by spending less or you'll get a real POS, not just something that's made in china and just looks "bad").

I verify that all this info is factual. FYI i've melted my headlights with cheap HID's and I have a proper $700 set at the moment. The cheap ones really do melt a little often.
