Default Rear Lower Valances for GTs...

Has no company came up with a decent rear valance for our GTs? I'd like to see a simple add on to imitate the CS rear, or something like it, without having to replace the whole rear bumper.

Or something like this (But 3D Carbon only seems to make them for V6's...) that would black out the bottom, around and in between the exhaust tips. It seems like this would be very easy to do for an aftermarket company, but as far as I can tell no company has.

Does anyone know of a rear valance that wouldn't replace the whole bumper?

3DCarbon makes a different one for GT's.
Look on their website under GT styling and you will see it.

It has a similar look to the V6 but with CS vanes on it.
I have one for my GT and painted the insert section flat black and it looks really good.

Here is a picture of it with the vanes left body colour.

Right on...for some reason I was under the impression that kit was the whole bumper. This may go on my "To do" list, thanks.

I know you're not looking for this but I have to say the "add-on" valances all look hokey (aftermarket rice). If you're going to go for a C/S look you may as well do it right and get a CS bumper. Yeah it's expensive but it looks OH SO MUCH BETTER. BTW I too have wanted the rear style valence for my S197 but it's way too expensive. That and they don't make C/S in Windveil Blue so a can't do a take off bumper cos I still have to pay to have it painted. JMHO

I'm not committed by any means, just thinking ahead. If I do this, it will be one of the last exterior mods I'd do. I'm just seeing what is out there

You might not like it up close Bleedin...
I've seen those in car shows and it looked funky to me. Protrudes too much IMO.
Make sure you see it on a car in person first.

Also, the fact that you see very few of these makes you wonder...

these look good in pictures but not up close. The fit is not very good and there are large gaps in various places. It does not look as good as as the cs bumper. For a little bit more, the GT/CS bumper cover is definitely better.

I am planning on the GT500 rear bumper myself.

I've had great luck with this site. The two bottom items listed are the front and rear bumper covers, cross reference the part numbers to your accessory catalog.
