Ghetto Custom's - Painted Rear Cap Black
Decided to paint my cap black today. To lazy to take it off so I opened my own ghetto custom paint shop in my Dad's garage.
Used a Krylon paint that bonds to almost anything then a couple coats of clear. It took about a hour including taping it off.

Thanks! Turned out nice. I have one tiny spot that needs a touch up but it's not that noticeable.
Also, you can see my American Muscle LED 3rd brake light never quite turns all the way off. (1st pic) Plus I'm not sure how they can call it "smoked" IMO they should label it "clear". I'm going to have the guy that did my tails hit it with a couple coats of the same stuff he used on my other lights. The LED is much brighter and safer.

Nope. Paint said no prep will bond to the finish. Just cleaned all the dirt and grease off of it first.
I got brave because I want to buy the CDC rear delete panel. So worst case would be an sonner than expected purchase.
I will keep it like this for a month or so to see how well it lasts with weather and washing. I'll post an update in the future.
