Default carbon fiber idea???

Question for anyone who might run across this. I have an alloy metallic '09, and might be looking for a new hood in the future. I was thinking of a carbon fiber hood, type undecided. But my thought was to mask out a superstripe, and then paint it the alloy metallic. Then when unmasked, the stripe, will be the carbon fiber. Anyone have any thoughts ont his? And, do they make a carbon fiber trunk lid? Reason being I have a glass roof so if I had a carbon fiber trunk lid, then I could do the same, and thats all the carbon fiber stripes I would need. Any thoughts, are much appreciated!!

i think it would be pretty sick man, do it.

my friend has a black 02 saleen, is getting the cf cobra r cowl hood and is masking off the cowl and using that as a stripe to show some cf.

seibon has a lot of stuff for our cars, you should check it out.

Ive wanted to do that for a long time. i was orgininally going to do it on my accord but never wanted to put money into a car i wasnt a huge fan of.

Id recommend getting some carbon look vinyl and trying it out for a week or so. might end up being a waste if your clearly going for it, but if you dont like it, its alot of money that can be saved.

A fellow Stanger did a reverse paint job on his carbon fiber hood. The stripes are carbon fiber and rest of the hood painted in body color. You can base coat clear coat your stripes on your hood and eliminate the stripe ridge by doing so.I would look pretty good.

I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but don't have the cash. Seibon makes two different trunks for our cars. One is just a CF version of the stock lid and the other has a lip spoiler molded in.
