Stock rims 16" wide tires?

I have an 08 with the stock 10 spoke 16" rims. First question, how wide is the rim 7 or 7.5"? What would be the widest tire I could put on them for just the back wheels. I would want to keep the same stance as stock if possible. Thanks for any help.

I think most people run 8"-10" wide wheels in the back varying from 17-20" rims
