Default I need ideas for underhood presentation...

okay, i go to a lot of car shows and try to spiff up the ride here and there to tweak the presentation to try to gain the edge over the competition as much as possible...

when i set the car up, i wipe everything off and polish everything up, good to go, i step back and look at the beast and all i see is the big white open area where my hood liner used to be...that empty space just bothers the crap out of me...i need something there, only what? i cant airbrush anything because of all the ridges, it would be all jacked up...if removed the hoodliner because it rubbed on my plenum cover and started rubbing the paint off of it..

any ideas?

Yeah,
I like the idea of a big Roush logo. That would look cool. Or maybe a big blue Ford Oval. Even bigger than this.

You could get mirrors cut to fit in all of the recessed parts. Might book good, ive seen it on the inside of hoods before and didnt look bad

I'm gonna second this option. Then you can put the Roush 'R' in the central detent (in white?) to match the car. Should look pretty slick and understated.

This is what it looks like installed. That's a pretty crappy picture on the previous link. A little extra work and you can probably get it even smoother. Note: this is not my car, or my image. I simply found a better pic and re-hosted it.

i dont know if the mirror idea is going to be too expensive....

ill check into the custom hood liner idea with the roush R...ive done research on this liner before and its actually pretty good, it stays pretty snug up against the hood and off of the engine components...
