To stagger, or not to stagger, that is the question
OK, so I have decided to go with the Black Chrome FR500 Replica wheels for my stang. I have two choices. To stagger the wheels with 20X10 and 20X8.5 on some TOYO Proxes, no road hazard and pay about $1800 in total. OR Get all 4 FR500's in 20X8.5 with NITTO 555's with 3 yr road hazard for $1600.. I am not necessarily tight for money, but cant seem to make a decision...

I like the staggered look. I'm not staggered enough and you can barely tell the difference. I would think that you might want a wider rim in back at some point too if you want to beef up your tire size. 8.5 inches only goes so far.

I'd say yes. I'm an old fart and I can't remember the last time I took advantage of a tire warranty. I'd press them for the reason for that policy though. Is it just because you can't rotate them front to back?
I have Sumitomo's with directional treads and I have a warranty.

Old fart here, too. I've driven well over 1 million miles in my lifetime. That's a LOT of tires and I NEVER EVER bought road hazard insurance or ever had to take a tire back under warranty.
Staggered is a great look. Except you won't be able to rotate front to rear and, if the tires are directional, you won't be able to rotate, period. But it's all for the look.
