Default 3D Carbon Tonneau cover

Bagged one of the hardshell 3D Carbon Tonneau covers on eBay last week (wanted one forever, but $400 list + $100 shipping? Sheesh...) now at $150, well, that's a different story

It conveniently arrived on a rare Feb day in NE warm enough to put the top down and try it

I'll probably give it a spray with the matte black urethane I used on my rear spoiler (as it it's a match for the seating "charcoal" color)

Looks really nice. How is the quality of it? I ask, because I just ordered a spoiler from them.

Thanks!

I think you should paint it red, it would look really good

Damn, $150 what a find! I haven't bought one because it can't be stowed in the trunk, just in case I need to remove it if I'm away from home.

Very nice, if I could find one at that price then I would actually use the cover when the top is down.

Very nice! And even better at that price!!!

Curious how it installs? Does it require any drilling?

No permanent mods/drilling required at all

There are two small metal receiver plates for the locks which simply push unto the existing trim for the top well on either side, and the back is secured with a pair of flexible tabs on the cover that slip between the top and the rear of the well.

Another thing I like it that there's a soft rubber gasket all the way around the bottom edge, and when installed, this rides up on the existing plastic trim around the well, not on the paint where dirt/grit could get trapped and scratch up the paint finish.
