Trying to make GT500 Brembos fit!!!
 

I just came across a helleva deal on a complete set of GT500 Brembo front brakes ($400 craigslist special!), complete with only 200 miles.

I made the stupid mistake of ordering 20" Shelby Razors in +40mm offset instead of the +24mm offset (then again I didn't know I would run across such a good deal on brakes). It says that the 40mm will not clear GT500 brakes on the Shelby website (However, I have yet tried to fit them myself).

Can I make this work with a wheel spacer? I'm running a staggered setup anyways, 255s front and 275s rear so it wouldn't look funny just putting spacers on the front wheels. H&R makes a 15mm spacer that looks safe to use because it comes with longer studs.

Anybody that has done this before or has knowledge on this help!
