Default $250-$320 for painting quarter window louvers?

I got my pair of CDC quarter window louvers today and began talking to places about painting them. The lowest price I got was $250 for just paint and the highest was $340 for paint/install. These prices seem a little too high to me, what do you guys think?

That does sound awful high. They didn't offer it pre-painted?

You can buy prepainted louvers for less.

I had my Astra-Hammond rear window louvers painted last summer at the dealership for about $150. They HAVE to be at least 3 times the surface area of quarter window louvers.

Sorry, i didn't mention that the louvers were off a silver mustang so i'm trying to repaint them tungsten grey. Is it really that much more expensive to prep the part for the new color? I thought i was saving money getting them for $60...

You'd think so, but none of these were over the phone, i went to three different places around me and they all held the parts themselves to check them out

So my girlfriend took matters into her own hands and started calling people without me knowing lol. She says she found a place near her that will do it for $150, or $200 if they have to order the paint. But apparently the guy usually likes to mix his own stuff so he wants me to bring the car in to see what he can do to save me some money. Any thoughts?
