Default Putting a hood scoop on racing stripes?

Hey everyone, quick question:

I have a grabber orange Mustang with black racing stripes down the hood.

Would a grabber orange hood scoop set on top of this look ok? I can't find any pictures of that and I don't really know if that would look right or not. Thanks.

Do you have any pictures of your Stang that you could post? You might also be able to get someone to Photoshop one on.

....but without seeing it, I would think it would probably look good.

For the life of me I can not figure out how to post pictures on here. But it's the common two black stripes seperated by an inch or so down the middle. I'm thinking it would look pretty good, but I also wonder if a black one would work?

I don't know what kind of hood scoop you are going to put on but be aware that the hood scoop may vibrate and mess up your stripes that pass under it. I have a factory hood scoop and had to have my vinyl stripes trimmed around my hood scoop. The stripes were being wrinkled by the movement of the hood scoop. See how mine looks now after trimming:

I just put mine on a few weeks ago, I didn't think it would look good with the stripes but I love it and I get so many compliments on it. I installed the Roush hood scoop that I purchased pre painted from Josh ar RPI Designes, they are great.

I couldn't figure it out for awhile either. Tried a couple ways and then eventually had to set up an Imageshack account.....here's a tutorial for reference.
