They're fairly straight forward to install but good luck finding a GOOD shop to do them. A lot can go wrong drilling through your hood

Yeah not a difficult install, but you have to be ok with drilling holes in your hood. Just remember, measure 1238573 times, drill once.

Thanks for all the info guys. I guess I'm gonna go with the Spectre pins and paint them matte black like Hootna's. I'm not sure I trust myself to drill through my hood though and I don't really have any room to work since I'm in a dorm right now. My friend says he know a good shop that he gets work done at a lot, but if they look suspect then my neighbor back in Dallas owns a shop so I can just get it done next time I'm back home. I'll just have to keep my speed down on the drive.

Not yet. Unfortunately I've been stuck in Lubbock way longer than I thought and I haven't been able to drive back home to Dallas yet. I haven't found a shop in Lubbock that I feel comfortable having drill through my hood either. Plus since there's no pep-boys in Lubbock I had to order the lanyards because auto-zone carries the pins but not the lanyards. But I'm supposed to get to finally move back to Dallas either today or tomorrow so hopefully within the week I'll have the pins installed.

Very cool. Well, when you do get them installed, post up some pics and let us know how it went.

BTW....I used to live in Dallas and really enjoyed it. Good people and great food. Boy do I miss TX BBQ. Tempted to make a trip down just to get some BBQ beef ribs. Mmmmm.
