Boy Racer kit, install myself or not?
Ok guys well I recently bought a boy racer body kit from a member on the forums. It is the 11 piece kit with the d500 wing(not the huge one). I am debating between doing the install myself or having a shop do it because im scared it will not line up. So, my question is how hard and how many hours is the install and to line things up? Any problems/tips people have had? If you had it installed at a place, how much did they charge?

for the paint and installation of my roush bodykit it was 1200. i wanted to install my bodykit myself, but i dont think i had the knowledge and i dont think i had all the tools either. usually bodykits take along time. and you might need another person or two to install it. is it already prepainted? i did install a bodykit on my freinds ricer, but thats why i did it, it was a friggin ricer so i didnt care how it turned out lol.

I would My friend has a lot of tools that I can borrow, and I would be putting it on with another friend also. Yeah it came pre-painted, a few scratches and stuff here and there though. The only thing with this kit is you have to swap a few things out of your old bumpers also. I can imagine the kit crooked after install at like a 20degree angle LOL

I guess lots of time is needed for this and i am ok with it as long as its all good in the end! Yeah i don't like the spoiler, but this one is not the one your thinking about, this one is like a gt500 i think.

I like that kit and it will look awesome if its the color you want or can live with I say do it yourself If not might as well just let the shop paint&install it for you that way you can drop it off, they call you a couple days later and you go back and are like damn look at that badass stang when you roll up and then you go oh snap its mine, hence you live up to yournamesake bolivianpimp
seriously though man post pics when your done no matter what you decide it should look killer!

Confidence and Patience. You can do this !!! On a scale of 1 to 10 body kits area a 5 or 6. Take your time and test fit everything before final install. The more you do the more you learn about your car and the more you save. I do 98.9% of everything myself. All but tranny rebuild and paint (only because of space and time) and I'm not a mechaninc for a living. You Can Do This !!!
