Default Magnetic blackout panel

thanks all for the replies....

Defintely will consider the SHR Honeycomb. Also like Margarita Girl's panel in the pic. Xenon looks sharp.

Thanks!

Personally, I thought about it too but decided to go the better and a little more expensive way other than paint and I got the honeycomb panel instead, there is a photo of it in my album

I have the magnetic one and im not impressed with it at all. I bought it from AM and it comes wraped up like a tube and it took me 2 days of using a hair dryer and stuff around the house to make it flat. Once i got it flat i couldnt get it around the faux cap on the trunk. I would try something else! Im thinking of getting it painted.

If you have to get a magnet... get a chick magnet!
Oh wait! We have one already.

I will agree with MGirl though. Can't beat paint for a slick look.

I was reading over this whole post and wanted to put my 2 cents in , I bought the magnetic one just to see what it would look like and I really like it and now am looking for soemthing more permanent , to flatten mine I put it on the side of the fridge all night and it was ready for install and fit good on my car. I really am considering going with the paint , that looks sharp!!! The magnet is always dirty on my car it seems

I've had my magnetic on for almost a year and never had any problems with it. I've ran her through many car washes and it stays on like a champ. I dont notice and 'extra' dirt on the panel. I guess it all depends on your area.

I have one from American Muscle on the back of my car. It has been there over a year and a half and at first it fit perfect and looked great, but over the last few month it has begun to shrink a little in some spots. I thought about replacing it but I think I may just paint it instead.

Please disregard, I was looking for a Gt w/satellite antenna trunk.

Do you currently have a spoiler? If not, I'll trade trunks with you. Mine comes with a GT500 spoiler and SHR honeycomb panel already installed. I live in the DC area. Let me know.
