Default CDC Classic chin questions...not related to height

I plan on installing the chin Friday and striping it that same night. I read in the CDC instructions that after 12 hours, only a 30% or so of the bond strength of the double-sided tape used to attach the chin to the lower lip is achieved. If I plan to go on a good-weather cruise on Saturday, will I run into problems with wind and road bumps undoing the adhesive tape? Have any of you ever driven IMMEDIATELY after your chin was installed? What happened?

Also, should I stripe the chin BEFORE or AFTER the install on the car?

Thanks!

I test fit mine yesterday and even w/o the tape I think it would stay on ok with just the screws, it fits that tight. Honestly I think the whole setup time of the tape is overstated, most of the bond is formed within minutes, there is no way it is only a 30% bond after 12 hours. The reality is its just a statement to CYA. Last summer I put a GT500 spoiler on, I let it sit for about 3-4 hours and then took it out for a drive. Soon after I found myself driving through a carwash. It's been almost a year now w/o any problems, the spoiler has stuck just fine and I've taken it through a whole winter and had no issues.

I drove mine immediately after I installed it. Never had any issues with it coming loose. Its been holding tight for a couple years now. I don't think I'd want to get it wet right away though.

I been riding around on the bumpy roads for about a month and half without the double sided tap installed and i haven't ran into any issues. I'm not going to install the tape till i finished the stripes this summer.

Update: I just installed mine a few hours ago and took it out soon after. I put probably 10 miles on it w/o anything coming loose.

Installing my chin spoiler today. My instructions say that 60% of bond strength is achieved immedately, 75-89% after 24 hours, and 95% after 72hours. Assuming you put it on in 60-110 degree weather.
