Default Black Chrome fr500s wheels, got pictures and sizes? I need help.

** CENTER CAPS pop off when i try put them on, does that mean its the wrong offset? Just want to make sure if i goofed or something **

I recently just bought a set of these with tires but I have a small problem. I can't determine if they are the correct offset but I did get 18x10s all around, and my problem is that the center caps fly off when I put the wheel on, since my 05 has some black round rubber stuff connected to the rotor. Is that common among the 06s and 07s?

maybe its the wrong offset but I can't even find the number on the back, but I do now, that this sucks because I'm riding on snow tires and I sold my 20s and I have a car show next weekend.

Any pictures or advice would help.

Thanks.

**Not blaming anyone, just asking for advice as to why this is happening or if this is a common problem.***

Sig and my album has some pictures. Ive had no problems with mine. The only con i have against the wheels are that in sun light, they dont look "black chrome" they look army green'ish.

that black rubber thing is a dust cap, it is metal inside, if you use a hammer and tap it real soft it will give you enough room to get them on. I had to do the same for mine!

It feels good on the rear

I mean if that cap comes off than that will solve my problem, just hope its that easy. Is that what your talking about? If so why is it even on there?

Just feel alot better now and don't have to worry about getting a new set.

I'll be painting my rotors and calipers next weekend before putting them on and then I will post new pictures.

Thanks!

A Big Thanks to Mike at Cruzin Concepts as well!

no it needs to stay on it has grease behind it, if you tap it, it will bend in and you can fit the cap, or you can run a 1/4 inch spacer...
and please put a jack stand under your car, i see your legs under there in the last pic...have you ever seen Faces of Death movies, there is one where the car falls on the guys legs an chops one off, it would not be good.

You are putting these on yourself?

Are you balancing the wheels before putting them on or they already balanced pre ordered?

They were already balanced, and I wish I had complete jack stands, only have the lift....need to buy them because I will be painting the rotors and calipers next weekend.

So my option is to bend or get a spacer? where can i get the spacer? I will try to hammer it in but I hope I don't break it.

Thanks.....I won't be able to this until next saturday due to work and school but I will update everyone.

Just hope it works

it will not break, just tap lightly, it will bend easily. you need just tap it a little then try the wheel again, and if it needs somemore pull the wheel and tap a little more, you want to bend it the least amount as possible.
