I never notice them in anybody's pics until they mention that they've got 'em. I've been considering getting them myself.

You could always get them paint matched so they blend in better if you are concerned about the look.

I drive down a dirt and gravel road daily, half my driveway (~200ft) is dirt, but I just go real slow and it isn't bad.
