Default GT500 spoiler Removal and Reattachment ?s

I put a GT500 spoiler on my car, but I need to remove it because the driver sides tape did not stick. I'm pretty sure it is because it was about 50º when I put it on. I used 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean the trunk lid before attaching.

I assume I can use the fishing line while heating it up technique to remove the wing.

What is the proper tape to use to reattach it? I purchased some 3M Automotive molding tape, but I'm not sure if that is the correct tape to use.

Thanks in advance.

3m or Scotts black 5lb tape.

Does this sound like the right stuff?

3M™ Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape 06384 uses automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) approved acrylic foam core and adhesive technology. 3M Acrylic Plus Tapes part numbers 06382, 06383, 06384, and 06386 are stronger, higher performing, high stress handling products than other automotive attachment tpaes. These tapes offer more robust performance to a wide variety of automotive substrates. Typical applications include body side moldings, claddings, rock panel trim, wheel flares, bumper trim and other exterior and interior automotive trim components.

Yes that's it.

Thanks for the quick reply. I couldn't find this locally, and it was fairly difficult to find online. Can't wait to get this fix, although I dread removing the spoiler again.
