"Replacement K&N style filter for Paxton and Vortech supercharger kits. This will fit the Paxton Novi kits, Shelby kits, Vortech HO kits, and Vortech non HO kits."

I haven't been under the hood of any of the newer stangs "in person." What's the tube coming from around the rear of the shaker and extending over by the filter?

That's part of the shaker tubing. Shaker takes in the air and it comes out on top of the filter.

I was lucky enough to buy my shaker used with that pipe already set-up. I bought it from Toy4Bob and I believe he said he had a local exhaust shop fabricate it up.
